Works offered on this platform are sold by the respective artists as independent merchants. Tax treatment (German small business exemption under § 19 UStG or standard VAT taxation) depends on each artist’s status and is shown at checkout. All prices shown are final prices.
1. Scope
These terms apply to all orders placed through the ARVONAR platform (arvonar.de and related artist subdomains).
ARVONAR is operated by the operator named in the legal notice as shop owner and technical platform operator. Your contractual partner for the purchase is always the artist offering the work (hereinafter: seller). The seller acts as an independent merchant (merchant of record) and is responsible for performance of the contract, shipping, and statutory warranty. ARVONAR supports the seller with technical checkout orchestration, payment routing, document delivery, and certain customer communication flows. This does not create separate contractual claims against ARVONAR under the purchase contract. The operator named in the legal notice is not a party to the purchase contract.
These terms apply exclusively to consumers within the meaning of § 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB).
2. Conclusion of contract
The presentation of works on the platform does not constitute a binding offer. By completing the order process you place a binding order. The purchase contract is formed as soon as the payment process in checkout has been completed successfully. You will then receive a contract or order confirmation on a durable medium, usually by email. Each work is a unique original; orders are limited to one item.
To avoid double sales, ARVONAR may temporarily reserve a work during an active checkout session. If payment is not completed in time, that reservation ends automatically.
3. Prices and shipping
All prices are final prices. The seller’s tax treatment is indicated at checkout. Shipping costs and the delivery time applicable to the specific order are shown before you complete the order. Shipping is handled by the artist as the seller of record, currently to EU member states and Switzerland, insured and in professional packaging.
4. Payment
Payment processing is handled by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Dublin, Ireland. Available payment methods are shown at checkout. ARVONAR automatically deducts a platform fee; the remaining amount is passed on to the seller. The buyer owes only the total amount displayed at checkout.
5. Retention of Title
The artwork remains the property of the artist until full payment of the purchase price has been received. Ownership transfers to the buyer upon receipt of full payment.
6. Certificate of authenticity
Each work is supplied with a digital certificate of authenticity containing title, technique, format, artist name, and a unique certificate ID with QR code. The certificate is delivered by email after purchase. ARVONAR also keeps a platform-generated copy for document delivery and resend purposes.
7. Right of withdrawal
Right of withdrawal: You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The period begins when you receive the work. Your contractual partner is Slagjana Mirkovikj Petreska (seller). To withdraw, you may use the storefront withdrawal form for eligible shipped or delivered orders or send a clear statement by email to slagjana.mirkovic@arvonar.de (subject “Withdrawal”, order number). Email is sufficient even if the form is not available for your case. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal: If you withdraw from this contract, the seller must reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery, without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days from receipt of your notice of withdrawal. For this reimbursement, the seller will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in any event, you will not be charged any fees for this reimbursement. The seller may withhold reimbursement until the work has been received back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent the work back, whichever is earlier. You must send back or hand over the work without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicated your withdrawal. The seller or ARVONAR may send the operational return instructions after receipt of your notice. Please do not return the work before you receive those instructions, and pack the work securely for return transport. The deadline is met if you send back the work before the 14-day period has expired. In the event of withdrawal, you bear the direct cost of returning the work unless otherwise agreed. This does not apply where the return is due to a defect, incorrect delivery, or another issue attributable to the seller. For artworks that cannot normally be returned by standard parcel post due to size, weight, or packaging requirements, return costs may be higher; where required, the estimated maximum return cost will be stated before the contract is concluded. ARVONAR may coordinate the reimbursement on behalf of the seller where payment was processed via the platform.

8. Liability
The operator named in the legal notice has unlimited liability for damage arising from injury to life, body or health and for intent and gross negligence. In cases of slight negligence, liability exists only for breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal duties). The respective seller is responsible for descriptions of the work, quality, and shipping.
9. Dispute resolution
The former EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued with effect from 20 July 2025.
Unless mandatory statutory obligations apply in the individual case, neither the respective seller nor ARVONAR is obliged or generally willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
10. Applicable law and final provisions
German law applies to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Mandatory consumer protection laws of the state in which the consumer has their habitual residence remain unaffected. If any provision of these terms is invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
These terms are originally prepared in German. Translations into other languages are provided for convenience and better understanding. If a translation differs, mandatory consumer-protective rules of interpretation remain unaffected.
These terms apply exclusively to consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB.
